Content Management System

Using WordPress as CMSDynamism.  A word that has changed the way of making Internet sites on the last few years. The concept of dynamic web site would be “a site that was designed with new information, either in layout or content.” The site is not “static” because quite often allows a rapid change of its content, allowing greater interaction with the user.

Precisely for this task CMS (Content Management System) has appeared. These complex tools once installed on the Web server, allow dynamic real time or programmed updates by the user without needing a webmaster with HTML knowledge. This allows the website owner to update text, images, news, and in some cases even the placement of certain content on its site.

WordPress as CMS

wordpress-cmsMany are the content managers on the market, WordPress, Joomla and Drupal are at the end the most used and most complete. The big difference between the first two is its architecture and therefore how the designer will use the program to develop a Web site.

One big difference is that WordPress does not come with ready to use modules as Joomla does. At a first glance WordPress may seem a harder platform to do what you want, but with an intermediate to advanced knowledge you can turn it in a much more flexible tool, that can adapt to virtually any situation.

An example would be the use of both packages by a user without any knowledge of Internet development. A person who only has knowledge of office software could create a small website with Joomla in a few hours of work. With WordPress the same person would, on the best case, create a little blog.

Hacking WordPress really requires more knowledge and skills, but once done the flexibility and the ease content manage by the client really worth the effort.
