Trujillo a historical city in Spain
Last holyday we go out to visit our friends Ana and Juan Carlos in Madroñera, a town of Caceres in Extremadura. We already knew the cities of Caceres and Mérida, but not Madroñera. We chose the New Year’s Eve to visit and we had an incredible weekend.
After arriving at the house of Ana’s parents I see some small “ruins” in the backyard. Nothing historical, just the ruins of some ancient building that once stood there but I liked it. I grabbed the camera and took some pictures that I liked.
We spent New Year’s Eve with them, private table with their parents and family, all very funny, one of the best nights we’ve been old in Spain.
The next day we visited the city of Trujillo. I knew it was a historic city. The name always caught my attention because it is a surname in America too. Does anyone know who Robert Trujillo is? No? Well, nothing less than the Metallica’s bass player.
Well, the city of Trujillo has much historical significance, especially because it was the birthplace of Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru. Below a picture from the town of Trujillo and here you can see the full gallery. Hope you enjoy the place.
See ya!
